Some Good News
With all the bad news in the media, we wanted to share Some Good News. Our dear friend and patient Susan has been recovering from severe neck and arm pain since late Feb. 2020. In the beginning, her pain was so severe and debilitating that she was only able to sleep a few hours at a time each night. She was also facing surgery if things did not improve soon. Several therapy visits later, here she is below after sharing with me that she is now sleeping the entire night!

Our dear friend and patient Courtney has just graduated physical therapy. She has suffered from neck pain, back pain, spinal weakness, and inability to weight bear on one side since child birth. Tips to Reduce Back Pain
Recent research highlights the benefits of frequent weightbearing exercise such as walking and standing for reducing low back pain. Standing desks are becoming more popular for a reason. Try standing at your desk for a few minutes at least every 30 min during your work day. If you work from home try taking brief but frequent walking breaks (at least one time per hour). Adhere to these tips and before long you will notice less back stiffness!
